MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

BASS has always retained a strong presence in the International Ship Supply industry and this is only possible by having its own strong memberships within the industry and maintains a strong voice and is financially sound.

By joining BASS the individual member has the opportunity to become a member of ISSA and therefore be listed in the ISSA Register and on the ISSA web site. Only full members of BASS are allowed to have this opportunity. The ISSA register is distributed to some 4,500 outlets in the shipping industry from Ship Owners to Ship Managers and on to any organisation with a shipping influence.

All members who elect to join ISSA have the "Ship Supplier" publication circulated to them three times a year and also receive a copy of the ISSA Register. This latter publication is printed annually and contains some 1,800 members thoughout the world. ISSA also holds a major convention once a year and the location is chosen at major sites throughout the world.

There is a one off joining fee for new members and an annual fee is levied in January of each year. A seperate charge is levied by ISSA for this membership.
